The California Department of Health Care Services is offering FREE emotional support services with the goal of assisting individuals, families, and communities recovering from the effects of Covid-19.  Receive up to 6 crisis counseling sessions via phone or website chat.  To learn more visit https://www.calhope.org/.

Thanksgiving Holiday Update: From Matt and Mike

Good morning everyone. Mike and I are extremely thankful for everything you do for D&D and we want to wish you and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving holiday.

If you are traveling this week, please be careful, as the weather is difficult throughout California.

We will be closing down our offices today for the Thanksgiving Holiday at 3pm and will be reopening on Monday Dec. 2. Thank you.

Just a reminder to mark your calendars for D&D’s Active Shooter Training that will take place on Monday April 9th in the Main Conference room. The schedule (per department) is listed here.

If you cannot make your scheduled time or will not be in the office please let Michelle Hernandez know. A makeup session will take place Tuesday April 10th between 9-10am!

**Managers please be sure to attend the training session your department is scheduled for, if there is a conflict please let us know and we can address accordingly.

✓ Build an emergency preparedness kit in case you’re evacuated quickly or you can’t return to your home
✓ Monitor nearby wildfires on statewide fire maps published by the California Dept. of Forestry and Fire Protection
✓ Above all else, please follow local evacuation notices to help protect the personal safety of yourself and others
