Modesto Office: Welcome back, Ralph Saxton and Hallie Fisher!

Ralph has over 27 years of insurance experience and is working with Matt Harbeck.  Ralph is known for his passion for hiking, camping, swimming, and watching baseball.  He has summited Mt. Whitney and Half Dome, which is pretty impressive.

Hallie has over 20 years of insurance experience and is working with Curt Zimmerman.  Hallie is known for her love of the outdoors.  She likes to trail run, hike, camp, and garden.  It could be said that Hallie is a lover of pets given her collection of varied pets:  a kitten, dogs, possums, grey squirrels, and the occasional duck and mallard that hang out in her swimming pool.

Welcome back Ralph and Hallie!

Congratulations Bob Taylor: Lifetime Director of the Building Industry Association of the Greater Valley

Congratulations to our very own Modesto Broker, Bob Taylor, for being honored as Lifetime Director of the Building Industry Association of the Greater Valley.

Bob has been on the board of BIA for over 30 years and has made his mark within the association by attending nearly almost every meeting.

We’re so proud of all the hard work you’ve done throughout the years at D&D and all that you continue to do. BIA is lucky to have a leader like you, and this is a huge testament to your achievements.

Happy Birthday, Kelly Cole!

Cheers to Kelly Cole in our Modesto Office on her birthday, we hope you have a wonderful day!

Modesto Office: Retirement and Promotions News

Congratulations to Ginger Cope who is retiring. Her last day of work will be February 28th. We all wish her well in her much deserved retirement.

We are pleased to tell you that Kara Hippert is being promoted to a full CSR position and will be taking over Ginger’s book of business.  The transition will take place over the remainder of this month.   Effective 2/4/2019 she will be taking over the portion of Ginger’s book that belongs to Eldon Easterday.  Then on 2/19/2020 after Amber Easterday is back, she will be taking over Sandy Sanders’ book of business.  At that time servicing the Hanover HERS Service Center accounts will be moved from Kara to the Fresno office. Ann and Mary will be working closely with Kara on a daily basis to train her in her new duties.

Kara will try and finish up any work that she currently has in process for the CSRs today and first thing tomorrow morning. The rest of her activities will be returned to each CSR tomorrow.  She has been a big help to all of us and I know we will miss her assistance as an assistant CSR.

Kara’ duties will still include relieving GG for her lunch hour and taking mail to the post office at 4:15pm. However, we will all have to take a turn on a rotating basis to relieve GG for AM and PM breaks and also when GG calls in sick or is on vacation.  I’ll have a weekly schedule for breaks made up and sent to you in the next couple of days.

Should you have any questions regarding these changes let Ann or Mary know.

Thanks so much and congratulations to Ginger and Kara!

Modesto Office: Holiday Card

For those in the Modesto Office we’ll be shooting our holiday card this Thursday 11/21 and next Monday 11/25.

We’ll knock out the “glamour shots” in the morning of each day. Then we can get them to City Signs to create our card.

For those of you who are working remote, simply take a head shot with a blank background and send to Curt Zimmerman. Let us know if anyone wants to volunteer their photography skills with a camera, otherwise we’ll figure out our other options.

Having everyone’s participation will make this card fun and we can use to promote our business.

Thank you and please contact Curt for any other questions:

Modesto Office: Salvation Army Kidz Day

D&D Modesto team members Matt Harbeck and Bob Taylor volunteered for this year’s Kidz Day on May 14th, selling a special edition of the Morris newspaper to support the Salvation Army’s Red Shield. Their corner raised $581.69, contributing to the overall $103,000 raised for the local cause.

According to the Salvation Army’s website, Red Shield offers “spiritual, educational and athletic programs” and is “a safe haven for these children in one of Modesto’s poorest neighborhoods.” To read more about this cause, click here.
