The D&D Project: Vacation Day Raffle

A message from The D&D Project:

The D&D Project will be raffling off a Vacation Day to be used this year for one lucky D&D employee. Thank you Matt & Mike DeFendis for donating this for our Fresno & Clovis offices. Tickets can be purchased starting today and will end Thursday, August 1 before 1pm.  Please see any D&D Project member to purchase. Proceeds will benefit the D&D Scholarship Fund.

You can place your ticket in the bucket in my (Darlene Ayala) row. If you have any questions, let us know.

**Clovis Office, if you are wanting tickets, Chris from IT will be there tomorrow morning and can deliver to you and collect your donation. If you miss him, I can make other arrangements next week. Just let me know the amount of tickets you want to purchase.

****Also we are always looking for new members with new ideas, so see any member interested in the D&D Project. ****

The D&D Project: Block P and Scholarship Updates

The D&D Project raised over $368 from your donations during the latest Casual Week over July 4th!

The Pinedale Block P Dinner that took place on May 29th was a great success, and Matt DeFendis was there serving parents and students at the event. Dinner was from DiCicco’s and sponsored by the D&D project. 

Pictured below are the scholarship recipients from Clovis West and Washington Union High School, and our own Katie Beyerle was there at Clovis West to present the awards. The students were excited for their scholarship and advised it would be in good use.

Thank you again for the support for The D&D Project, and stay tuned for future opportunities to participate in our fundraisers and activities!

Fresno, Dinuba, Clovis: Grizzlies Picnic

June 18, 2019

D&D will be hosting a company picnic at the Grizzlies game on July 26th for the Fresno, Dinuba and Clovis offices. All employees and their immediate family members are invited.  Tickets to the game along with dinner will be included.  Please RSVP to Tara Beach ([email protected]) by Friday July 12th if you will be attending along with the number of tickets you will be needing. 

Congratulations, Helen!

Helen Sunahara joined D&D in 1989, and was instrumental to our Accounting Department  as we grew into additional communities in California. After 30 years of devoted service, Helen retired on Friday, June 14, 2019.   

D&D hosted a retirement luncheon in the main kitchen this past week. Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate Helen!

D&D Project: Casual Day

The D&D Project will be having a Casual Day Fundraiser on Thursday, April 25 for the Clovis Rodeo weekend. If you would like to participate it is $2.00 donation and tickets can be purchased from any of our Committee Members.

Proceeds will benefit the Russell F. Pipo Scholarship Fund. Thank you for your continued support.

A note from the D&D Project Committee

A very big THANK YOU to all those who participated in this event yesterday. We raised $358.00 to go towards the scholarship fund. I have included some photos from the event and some from a few people who received a signing Valentine from their Agent. That was Classic.

We look forward to another fun filled event in March for St. Patrick’s Day.

We will be working on a newsletter to be sent out that I know we have not seen for a while.
