#TBT to May 23rd, when about eight ladies from the D&D Fresno office attended the Insurance Associates of Fresno luncheon. Our very own Yenny Camberos’s cousin, Ashley Ramirez, received an Academic Scholarship after being sponsored by D&D’s Darlene Ayala. She will be attending UCSC in the Fall. Congratulations to this accomplished student!
Meet Katie Beyerle! New to D&D, we recently asked Katie to tell us a little bit about herself. Enjoy, and say hello the next time you see this new face.

What’s your background?
I have worked in insurance since I was 18, starting out as the head of renewals at a local classic and exotic car insurer. In 2014 I moved to another local office, which gave me the skill set and knowledge to work the many lines of business offered in property and casualty insurance.
What’s your life like outside of work?
I am an ISSA certified personal trainer and fitness is my passion. I have competed in the NPC Fresno Classic – Bikini and have my sights set to enter in the 2019 Fresno Classic. When I am not in the gym, I am most likely at home experimenting with various cooking techniques, styles, and food types while hanging out with my husband and fur baby Duke.

Just a reminder to mark your calendars for D&D’s Active Shooter Training that will take place on Monday April 9th in the Main Conference room. The schedule (per department) is listed here.
If you cannot make your scheduled time or will not be in the office please let Michelle Hernandez know. A makeup session will take place Tuesday April 10th between 9-10am!
**Managers please be sure to attend the training session your department is scheduled for, if there is a conflict please let us know and we can address accordingly.

There are 2 tickets and a parking pass available to purchase for Metallica on December 9th at the Save Mart Center. Tickets are $140.00 each and the parking pass is $10.00. Season’s Greetings from all of us on the D & D Project Committee. It has been a very busy year for us and now we find ourselves preparing for the Christmas Holidays. Once again we will be supporting the Children in the Pinedale Community with “Wants and Wishes”. Our tree is up and each child has a tag with their name, age, size and like hung on the tree.
A green basket and pen will be next to the tree. Please take the ornament and tear off the tag that lists the child’s name and add your name as the D & D giver and place in the Green Basket. You have untilTuesday, December 19th at Noon to return your wrapped gifts. Cash donations are always accepted and you can give your donation to any D & D Project member. Please make checks payable to The D&D Project.
Our Back To School Supplies were a big hit. We as well as Zenith, provided most of the items on the school supply lists for Pinedale and Washington Union. They are always grateful.
We will have our traditional Christmas 50/50 raffle and gift raffle right before our Christmas Luncheon on Friday, December 15th.Further information will be sent out regarding this event in the near future.
We thank you for supporting the D & D Project. Each year with your support we are able to reach out and help more children. You are the light in the window for many of these families. You help to make a big difference in their lives!!
