Fresno Office: Welcome, Kailey Reeves!

Welcome, Kailey Reeves, to D&D’s Employee Benefits Department as an Enrollment Specialist.  Kailey comes to us with great enthusiasm matched by her passion for the outdoors.

Kailey is newly married and lives in the countryside of Selma.  Also included in her family are furry and scaly friends including 2 dogs, 2 cats, 4 chickens, a snake, a gecko, and a couple of frogs.  Sounds like the countryside is perfect for her family!  I wonder which one she’ll enter in our annual Halloween Pet Costume Contest.

Congratulations, Rene Sanchez on VP of P&C Marketing Promotion!

Good morning everyone.

I am pleased to announce the promotion of Rene Sanchez to Vice President of P&C Marketing. In this capacity, he will be responsible for managing the P&C marketing team and utilizing his extensive experience in the overall restructuring of the commercial marketing department.

Rene will be replacing Dirk Seltzer, who will be assuming a new role in the marketing department focused on difficult risk placements. We thank Dirk for his dedication to our Agency and for his work to build the marketing department over the last two decades. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Dirk in his new role.

New Fresno Hires: Lakhan Shoker and Jennifer Chavez!

We’re happy to introduce Lakhan Shoker as the newest addition to our Fresno IT Department and Jennifer Chavez as our P&C Marketing Representative!

Lakhan joins us with over 10 years of experience in the world of IT.  Lakhan’s passion for all things tech related is accompanied by his enjoyment of working on computers, indulging in weekly video games with friends, and immersing himself in the world of comics. 

Jennifer comes to us with over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry with a background in both wholesale and retail agencies.  She loves music, travel, and watching football.

Independence Day commemorates our country’s declaration of independence from British rule on July 4, 1776.  It marks the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation, a symbol of freedom, democracy, and equality.   It’s a time to appreciate the blessings of living in a land of opportunity.

Welcome Julie Michaels, to our SLO Office!

Julie Michaels is now the new Commercial Lines Assistant in our San Luis Obispo office.

Julie has a passion for spending time with her family, theater, and travel.  In fact, Julie spent 8 days in Egypt cruising down the Nile visiting such sites as the Great Pyramid of Giza where she climbed to the inner chamber.  When not traveling, you can most likely catch Julie spending time with her two feline fur babies.
