Employee Benefits Department: UPDATE

Good afternoon,

Please read the attached announcement below from Matt DeFendis regarding changes to our Employee Benefits Department.

As you may or may not have heard, Debbie Pittman, our current manager in Employee Benefits, will be relocating to Phoenix at year end.  Fortunately, she will be staying with the company and work from Phoenix in a sales and service role.  Debbie has been a strong leader of our Benefits team and a strong voice on our Management team over the last six years.

As a result of Debbie’s move, we have asked Sandy Rogers to assume the day to day management of the department and she has accepted.  Sandy has been with D&D for 20 years and has been instrumental to the overall growth of the Benefits Department.  Sandy will be working closely with Debbie and Chris Peters during the transition.  As a result of this change, we anticipate reassigning some accounts within the department.  Sandy and Debbie will be reaching out to the producers to discuss changes within the department.

Chris Peters will remain as Sales Manager and we ask that all new business opportunities be discussed with Chris before being assigned within the department.  Your patience and understanding during this transition is greatly appreciated.

We wish to thank Debbie for the years of leadership she has provided to our Benefits Department and have complete confidence in Sandy’s experience and abilities to assume her new leadership position.

Modesto Office: Holiday Card

For those in the Modesto Office we’ll be shooting our holiday card this Thursday 11/21 and next Monday 11/25.

We’ll knock out the “glamour shots” in the morning of each day. Then we can get them to City Signs to create our card.

For those of you who are working remote, simply take a head shot with a blank background and send to Curt Zimmerman. Let us know if anyone wants to volunteer their photography skills with a camera, otherwise we’ll figure out our other options.

Having everyone’s participation will make this card fun and we can use to promote our business.

Thank you and please contact Curt for any other questions:

D&D Project: Event 11/12

The D&D Project is always looking for new ideas to raise funds throughout the year to sponsor Pinedale Elementary, Washington Union and Clovis West High Schools. A suggestion has come up to have Dutch Bros come and set up to sell Coffee and Tea the morning of Tuesday, Nov 12.

In order to make this event a success, Dutch Bros will donate 25% of the total sales with minimum purchase $500. That estimates to about 100 orders. If we do not reach that amount, the D&D Project will have the pay the difference to reach the $500 and we will not get the donation.

**Please vote Yes or No on the poll listed above. Polling closes at 3pm today. We need to get at least 100 participants. A flyer will be sent to the Bank next door as well, but not until there is a response from the office. So please take a moment and advise if you would like to participate.

Any questions, please see anyone of the D&D Committee Members.
